Uplistsikhe will be your first stop on this tour. It is a historic town in eastern Georgia that is popular for its striking mix of various Anatolian rock-cut cultures and the blend of Iranian pagan and Christian architecture. There are numerous buildings there that date from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages. You will stop for lunch in the area after touring Uplistsikhe and sample the delightful local cuisine. After lunch is over you can choose to explore Gori which is the hometown of Stalin or visit the Stalin Museum which is dedicated to the life of Stalin. The museum still has elements from the Soviet era, including Stalin's original home and railway carriage. The Jvari Monastery will be your next stop. Translated to English as the "Monastery of the Cross", it is in close proximity to Mtskheta. It is included on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites along with other Mtskheta heritage landmarks. Located at the meeting point of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, Jvari Monastery offers a panoramic view of Mtskheta, the former capital of the kingdom of Iberia. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta is the final destination of this tour. Mtskheta is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its historical importance and numerous cultural landmarks. From the third century BC to the fifth century AD, it served as the seat of government for the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia. Svetitskhoveli, one of the main Georgian Orthodox churches and one of the most revered places of worship in the area, is known as the burial place of Christ's robe.

The Jvari Monastery which means the "Monastery of the cross" is a 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery that is one of the many UNESCO heritage sites of Mtskheta. The monastery's prime location amidst the convergence of the two rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi promises its visitors a breathtaking overhead view of the former capital of the Iberian kingdom, Mtskheta.

Mtskheta is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site not only because of its numerous historical monuments but also because of its historical significance. Founded in the 5th century by the historic Meschian tribes the city served as the capital for the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. It continued to serve as a burial and coronation site for most Georgian Kings until the 19th century. The Cathedral of the living Pillar, locally known as the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is Georgia's second largest church and is popular as the burial site of Christ's robe. It is one of Georgia's leading Orthodox churches and one of the most celebrated places of worship.
