Holy Trinity

The first place to visit is Holy Trinity Cathedral, which most people in the area call "Sameba." Since it wasn't finished building until 2004, the cathedral doesn't have as much history as most other churches in Tbilisi.

On the other hand, the Holy Trinity Cathedral is beautiful in many ways. It is the third largest Orthodox cathedral in the world, after Saint Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. It is 97.5 meters tall.

We visit various well-known locations in and around Tbilisi, such as the Metekhi Cathedral, the Monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the cable car, the statue of Mother of Georgia, the Narikala fortress, the sulfur baths district, the Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, Shardeni Street, Sioni Church, Anchiskhati Church, and the Clock Tower of the Puppet Theater Rezo Gabriadze, the Bridge of Peace, and many others.

To tour, start by taking a stroll around the historic district and make our way to the Metekhi Church. After that, you learn about the fascinating history of how Tbilisi was established.

Following that, we make our way across the Bridge of Peace via Europe Square and Rike Park and, finally, arrive at the extraordinary Clock Tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater in time for the play.

In addition, you can see Sioni Cathedral, which is home to some of the world's most stunning frescoes, and study the history of Anchiskhati Church. Following our visit to the statue of the Toastmaster, we ride the cable car up to the Mother of Georgia's Monument, where we take breathtaking photographs of the city of Tbilisi.

This charming city is a popular destination for tens of thousands of tourists worldwide every year due to its long and illustrious history. Many well-known authors, artists, and poets have been moved by the breathtaking scenery of the mountainous region and the unique culture of Georgia to dedicate their wonderful works to the country of Georgia.

We carry on with our journey to Narikala Fortress, where we will go to the mosque, and then we will travel to Leghvtakhevi waterfall by way of Leghvtakhevi gorge. At long last, we stop to capture some pictures that will stick with us forever, and then we proceed along the Bridge of Love toward the sulfur baths district. You are treated to breathtaking panoramas of the "Leghvtakhevi" gorge as you make your way there.

Lunch

We go to a restaurant for lunch where they serve a variety of traditional foods from Georgia, and we get to sample each one.

Jvari Monastery is also known as the "Monastery of the Cross," which is the English translation of its name. It is a reference to the Georgian monastery that is located in Jerusalem and bears the same name. The Jvari Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery that dates back to the sixth century and is located close to Mtskheta.

It is included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Mtskheta and several other historic buildings. The town of Mtskheta, originally the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia, may be seen in the distance from the Jvari Monastery, located on the summit of the rocky mountain at the confluence of the Mtkvari and the Aragvi rivers.

Mtskheta is among the oldest cities in Georgia. The Meschian tribes started it in the 5th century. Because of its cultural and historical importance, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has named it a World Heritage Site.

Mtskheta was the capital of the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the third century B.C. to the fifth century A.D. Mtskheta, on the other hand, was where most of Georgia's kings were crowned and buried until the end of the kingdom in the nineteenth century.

Currently, the Holy Trinity cathedral is Georgia's biggest church building. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Living Pillar, is the country's second-biggest religious structure. Since Christ's mantle is said to have been laid to rest there, Svetitskhoveli is one of the area's most revered places of worship. Svetitskhoveli was also where the Georgian kings were buried and where they were crowned.
