Georgian food is one of the most underrated cuisines and some of the best activities you can do while visiting Tbilisi are cooking classes that include food and drink tastings. The experience is even better when you visit a local home. The tour begins with you going to a traditional neighbourhood family to meet the cook. You will learn to prepare the most well-known traditional dishes—Khinkali (dumplings), Khachapuri (bread with cheese), Eggplant with Walnuts, Georgian Salad, and Mchadi (cornbread)—in her cooking classes, and you do it all in your own. You will be served the well-known Georgian cheese Sulguni, Chacha which is Georgian Vodka, and homemade dry white wine. After every dish has been prepared you will taste each dish.
The best thing you can do in Tbilisi in 3 hours is to meet a local family, learn how to prepare the most well-known traditional dishes, eat and drink to your heart's content, and get the recipes.
